How to get here...

Verulamium Park is accessible from all major routes including M1, M25 and however please be aware that road closures and diversions will be in place from 9.30am and may affect your journey. Details of road closures are available here.

If you are planning to cycle, there is a cycle shelter available by the entrance to Westminster Lodge Leisure Centre. Please remember to bring a lock as these are public bike parking facilities.

St Albans is well connected on the local bus network with services from North London, Welwyn Garden City, Hatfield, Luton and Watford, as well as routes to the city’s suburbs. Many services stop at St Peter's Street which is only a short walk to the Runners Village.

St Albans City Station is only 20 minutes from London! It's 15- 20 minute walk to Runners Village or taxis and buses will be in operation.

You can also use St Albans Abbey Station which is less than 5 minutes walk to the Runners Village.

If you live locally please consider walking to the park or car sharing where possible. Street/Road closures will be in place at set times throughout the day which may affect your journey.

There is NO parking available for runners in Westminster Lodge or Verulamium Museum.

Access to this car park is strictly by permit only, disabled and Leisure Centre users only!
